Roro Mawouane, whose real name is Romane Lefebvre, has drawn since childhood and developed early on a special sensitivity to color and the emotions it conveys. Trained in illustration, she has published two children's books while pursuing a range of artistic collaborations: magazines, murals, shop windows, and puzzles.

Fed by her emotions, summer landscapes, and the small moments of everyday life, her world overflows with joy, spontaneity, and energy. Through vivid colors and dynamic compositions, she imagines offbeat scenes peopled with mischievous animals and dreamed-up landscapes.
