Through her travels and her discovery of new cultures, Thao has nurtured a fascination with elsewhere since childhood.

First trained in painting, her eye sharpened around composition and light, influenced by Vilhelm Hammershøi and Edward Hopper. Through her photography, she seeks less to capture a place than a sensation: the ephemeral, the silence, the fleeting beauty of a suspended moment.

Her images invite you to slow down, to contemplate, and to let a gentle, elegant, timeless emotion into your home.
